about the principal
Paul
J. Pellicani, R.A., A.I.A., founder of architect’s LOFT
, is a licensed and registered, award-winning
architect who has been creating innovative spaces for
more than twenty years. In addition to his work as an
architect, Paul is an educator and an artist.
Recognized by the American Institute of Architects, Paul
received recognition as a recipient
of the Annual Educator’s Award – one of the industry’s
most prestigious accolades. He has penned several
articles on home improvement for publications including
North Shore Home Improver, in addition to speaking
before major audiences at events such as the Suffolk
County Home Improvement Show and the Long Island Real
Estate Investor’s Association. Paul has also been
featured as an expert in his field in important media,
including The New York Times Real Estate section,
Newsday and on WOR’s “The Home Show” talk radio program.
And several of Paul’s projects were featured in an
episode of the hit television series, “Law & Order”.
As
an educator, Paul has been successfully
teaching the courses he developed, “Ask the Architect”
and “Create Your Dream Home” as part of continuing
education programs throughout Nassau and Suffolk
Counties for the past several years. Through these
invaluable classes, Paul enlightens and informs
literally hundreds of interested consumers with the
range of concepts necessary to ensure a smooth and
successful experience in home building or remodeling –
from design development to budgeting costs.
As an artist, Paul works to further the concept of
infusing architecture with an artistic sensibility. A
member of The Artist’s Group on Long Island, Paul’s
original drawing was selected in the competition, Art in
Architecture, which called for new works inspired by
some of the areas most interesting, historic properties.
In addition, Paul will be a featured artist in “Art
Under Glass,” a unique display of art installations at
the Tilles Center’s new glass atrium space with a piece
entitled, "Symphony In Space."
Paul is a lifelong resident of Long Island, New York and
takes great pride in his community as an active member
of industry organizations and professional associations
including the American Institute of Architects,
International Building Code Council and various Chambers
of Commerce.
